01Agreement to these terms
By creating an account or using JobPebbo, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you use JobPebbo on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for that business, and “you” includes the business.
If you do not agree, do not use JobPebbo.
02The service
JobPebbo is a browser-based tool that helps trade and field-service businesses create estimates and invoices, share them with customers, manage jobs and schedules, keep customer and item records, record payments and view reports.
JobPebbo records payments that you tell it about. It does not process card payments, hold money or move funds on your behalf.
03Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and use JobPebbo for business purposes. You must give accurate registration details and keep them up to date.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details, passkeys and devices secure, and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at info@jobpebbo.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
04Price and changes to the service
JobPebbo is currently free to use. We may add, change or remove features, and may introduce optional paid plans in future. We will not charge you for anything without telling you the price in advance and getting your agreement.
If we make a change that materially reduces what JobPebbo does for you, we will give reasonable notice where we can.
05Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use JobPebbo for anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading, including issuing false invoices or estimates;
- upload content that infringes others’ rights or contains malware;
- send spam or unwanted messages through the service;
- attempt to access accounts, data or systems you are not authorised to access;
- probe, scan or test the service’s security without our written permission, or disrupt or overload it;
- copy, resell, scrape or reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows;
- use automated means to create accounts or access the service at scale.
06Your content
You own the information you put into JobPebbo, including your business details, documents, customer records, items and images (“your content”). You give us a limited licence to host, copy, process and display your content only as needed to provide and improve the service for you, for example to generate PDFs or send a document you ask us to send.
You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights to use it, including any logos and images you upload.
07Your customers’ data
When you store information about your own customers, you act as data controller and we act as your data processor. You must have a lawful basis for that information and comply with data protection law when you use it. We will process it only on your instructions as set out in these terms and our privacy policy, keep it confidential and secure, and assist you with data protection requests where reasonable.
08Your documents, taxes and figures
JobPebbo calculates totals, taxes, markups, discounts, deposits and balances from the information and settings you enter. You are responsible for checking every document before you send it, for the tax rates and identifiers you use, and for meeting your own legal, tax and accounting obligations.
JobPebbo does not give legal, tax or financial advice. An approval recorded through a private estimate link is a record of your customer’s action; whether it forms a binding contract depends on your own terms with your customer.
10Third-party services
Some features rely on third parties, such as Google sign-in. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
11Availability and backups
We work to keep JobPebbo available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times. We may need to suspend it for maintenance, updates or security reasons.
We take regular measures to protect your data, but you should keep your own copies of important documents, such as downloaded PDFs of your estimates and invoices.
12Our intellectual property
JobPebbo, its software, design, logos and content (excluding your content) belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer any ownership to you.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
13Suspension and closing your account
You can stop using JobPebbo at any time and ask us to close your account by emailing info@jobpebbo.com. Download any documents you want to keep before closing your account.
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if your use creates a risk for us or other users, or if we are required to by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to retrieve your content. We may also discontinue the service with reasonable notice.
14Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Because JobPebbo is provided free of charge and for business use, the service is provided “as is”, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or anticipated savings, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you arising from these terms or the service in any 12-month period is limited to £100.
15Your responsibility to us
You agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs arising from claims by third parties caused by your content, your documents or your breach of these terms or the law.
16Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the “last updated” date on this page and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using JobPebbo after the changes apply, you accept the updated terms.
17Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that you may have additional rights under the mandatory law of the country where you are based.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
